• Probably but you can make sure looking on Microsoft site. My computer is from 2011 and it runs great with Windows 10.

• Probably not, but you can go to the MS website and get a copy of the pre-install verification program. That will tell you if you can install on your laptop or what upgrades might be required to make it compatible.
