This is for computers, not tablets. It will replace Windows 7, but you can choose whether it does a clean installation or if it keeps your files when it upgrades.

Please try again later.No it cannot be used on an ipad as the operating system. if you don't do a clean install on your windows 7 machine, and just an upgrade I believe you can revert back to windows 7 for a period of time 30 days I think. Myself I would get a imaging software, and image your hard drive while it's on windows 7 before you install windows 10 in case you decide to go back to 7 from windows 10, and it doesn't work. something like reflect imaging software.
