Yes. It worked for me. It was fairly simple, but it takes a while. Also, Windows will ask you to reenter your product license for Office the first time you open it, so you might want to have that handy. You can just log in to your microsoft account for newer versions. I don't think I had any other issues.

Back when Windows 10 first came out and they were letting you upgrade for free, I tried it, and it crashed my PC. Of course they blamed it on everything else but their product, so I had Best Buy replace my hard drive and re-install Windows 7 Pro. Now it seems that they are forcing everyone into using Windows 10. I can't even do my taxes without having Windows 8 (which I never cared for at all), or Windows 10. So I guess I will find out soon what is going to happen when I make the change. When I do, I will let you know.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Any time you upgrade make a backup of all files and programs, you will more than likely have to manually reinstall them. If you just install Win10Pro for upgrade without saving or backing up on a removable disk or stick, you will lose your files and programs, some might stay, but I doubt it, ALWAYS BACK UP ALL FILES AND PROGRAMS YOU WANT TO KEEP!!!
