“I have old vista and got locked out best but couldn’t open it and told me they have to delete everything and put in a updated windows, how easy is it to install new windows? Or should I pay them to install?”

You first need to make sure the hardware in the computer will support Windows 10. If so, you would need to do a clean install of Windows which means you need to back up your hard drive because you will need to erase the entire hard drive and then do the install. You cannot us a Windows upgrade version, you would need the full version. If you do not feel comfortable doing this then I would have then do the installation.
