“Can I get 8.1 pro to install without reformatting? I have Windows 8 Pro but I can't get all the "upgrade" files installed to 8.1 without a "reverting" for whatever reason. I want to go to Win 8.1. Will the disk require formatting the hard drive if I have Win 8.0 on it? Or, will it just "upgrade" 8.0 to 8.1? Thanks”

• Hello there, The Windows 8.1 Pro with Media Center is an upgrade from Windows 8.1. This is not designed to upgrade your PC from Windows 8. I hope this was helpful to you.
