If your computer already has 7 installed; all you need is the upgrade - which you should be able to access via Microsoft.com. Be sure that you really want to upgrade to Windows 8 before doing so; I recommend borrowing someone's computer that has it and work a bit with it first. I have been working with Microsoft operating systems my entire career (20 years) and find 8 to be extremely NOT user friendly. Though if you use your computer mainly for gaming, it may not make a difference. I ended up paying $100 per each of my 3 laptops to remove 8 and reinstall 7. Personally I am waiting until 10 is released; and I am going to be sure to try with Office before purchasing it.
