Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Windows 8.1 Pro Pack Upgrade is a soft-copy. The box contains a card with a product key. We used it at my office just this week on a Windows 8 PC we found on sale. Since we are in a corporate domain based environment, we had to have Pro to facilitate joining the PC to the domain. We ran all available Windows 8 updates, rebooted then Went to the 'Store App' on the PC and installed the free upgrade to Windows 8.1 which you will need to do if you are on Windows 8 and not Windows 8.1 prior to upgrading to 8.1 Pro. Once that was completed, and we were connected to the internet, we simply went to the control panel to Programs, and on the bottom there is an embedded link that says "Add features to my PC." We clicked that, entered the license key in the popup, clicked submit, and literally within 20 minutes, we were up running Windows 8.1 Pro and joined to the domain. That simple. The only thing you need is an active internet connection.
