Yes, we got the 30 day Gold and I extended it 12 months for $60. There is also a Game Pass 30 day trial with mine which is great, allows you to play the games as long as you are a member without buying them individually. The pass is $10/month and includes about 100 games free to play, check it out and if the games are the type your persons enjoy (RPG, 1st person shooter, etc) it maybe worth keeping. We will not as there are so few my son liked but he got to play several games and we bought the ones he enjoyed and dropped the ones he disliked. There is also a ultimate pass for $1 for the month that will upgrade your gold membership to the same number of months worth it if you have heavy gamers and their friends come over or play a lot online. Overall, GOLD membership is a YES, GAME PASS is a MAYBE, Ultimate PASS is a NO for us but maybe worth it if you have heavy gamers at home.
