A:AnswerThey might have some more in-stock. Best Buy seems to be the only place that has offered them after others have made them available. I think they received an allocation equal to or larger than other stores and are distributing them accordingly. I got mine at launch via pre-order but it doesn't hurt to try to order if it is available on their site.
A:AnswerYou can definitely use the Xbox One X Project Scorpio console horizontally. It comes with an (optional) stand for vertical use but both usage are available. As for the Black Friday...I don't own a crystal ball but considering that the console is released pretty soon to Black Friday I don't think we will see a discount on the console itself. There might be offers that include new games, additional controller or store discounts (e.g. $50 off when you spend over $250).
A:AnswerI think they shipped on 11/7/2017. They have started shipping and I did order that version of the device direct from Microsoft. One thing if you are a developer you can still test your apps on the regular XBOX ONE X and the app to do this is in the XBOX Store. You download the app and you can then deploy your own apps from Visual Studio direct to your XBOX ONE X. You may just want to by the Project Scorpio version even if you are not a Developer and I can understand that.
The good thing is Microsoft is shipping those Next Day Air which is always a nice surprise even though I should be used to it by now it is still nice. Not many companies ship Next Day Air without charging shipping at all. The Squeaky Wheel Can Sometimes Find Some Grease If You Really Want The Project Scorpio Edition Bad By Calling The Microsoft Customer Support For Microsoft Store Ordering. It sounds like you may have had difficulty placing an order or you thought you did and maybe it did not go through. I do not work for the Microsoft Store but like I said the Squeaky Wheel May Get Some Grease if you tell them about the ordering problem. Maybe they can still find you a Project Scorpio Version. If you still do not have it on 11/14/2017 sounds like it may not have gone through. It happened to me on the Microsoft website. It said it went through but the demand was so incredibly high that so many where coming in at one time the Sold Out & available got screwed up. That is what the CSR at Microsoft told me on the phone. They said the orders where coming in so fast that there ordering system could not process them fast enough. I did not think the Project Scorpio Developer edition would be popular except to developers. Man was I wrong.
A:AnswerMy best guess is that they're keeping that "coming soon" viewable just in case somebody cancels their order and a Project Scorpio becomes available. But I don't think Xbox will be making extra units of these special editions.
A:AnswerI did get one that shipped on 11/07/2017. I think they said the demand was incredible and you know it sold out. Maybe they found a second batch that will ship on 11/30. I did not hear that. It is worth the wait if you can actually get one though. Really.
