I honestly don't remember if the guitar is wireless but if it is then yes it will absolutely work BUT it has to be an Xbox one or later version of guitar hero. Xbox 360 guitars won't connect to this.

• A:Answer No that was something different. That was a USB. Wifi receiver. This is just got connecting wireless Xbox accessories to PC. It won't give the PC WiFi. Search "USB wifi dongle" or replace dongle with "receiver" and you will find what you need. Just leave the word Xbox out of the search. When you find what you're looking for it will probably have a short antenna on it but they are roughly the same price as this if not cheaper.

• A:Answer This just lets you connect the controller or headset wirelessly to your PC. Whether the game supports a controller is up to the game developer's. You can technically make it so any game will work with a controller using steams built in controller emulation or programs like xpadder or Pinnacle. I prefer Pinnacle Game Profller, I find it more accurate than steams controller emulation.

• A:Answer You won't notice a thing, in fact it might be lower latency depending on how long the cable is. The Xbox wireless protocol is below 1ms of latency at 20 feet and can handle 8 controllers at the same time or 4 controllers and 4 headsets. It's pretty impressive actually. The 360 wireless protocol was 1ms at 15 feet. Microsoft improved it and put the updated protocol in the base Xbox one through series x/s. If your cable is longer than 4 feet then this is technically lower latency. If your cable is 12 inches then they would have identical latency. Trust me you wont have any issues with any official Xbox controller and this receiver on Windows 7 through 11.

• A:Answer Yes it will. You can also connect any wireless headset that doesn't use a separate dongle directly to this. For example the Microsoft Xbox wireless headset. You can also connect 8 controllers at a time (meaning all 8 are turned on) or 4 controllers and 4 headsets. If you connect a wireless headset directly to this dongle you can also get 3d audio. Either the free Windows Sonic which is essentially identical to the PlayStation 5's 3d audio. Or you can go a big step up if you're willing to spend the $10-20 on the Dolby Atmos app (3d sound via stereo headphones). There's also DTS:X which is also 3d audio but Atmos seems to sound better overall and is compatible with most modern games, DTS:X is also technically compatible but you're better off sticking with Atmos.. It has much better positional audio which makes tracking sounds in 3d easier. For example if an enemy is above and to the right of you or below you and running away.. Or someone is running towards you on the same level. It's actually impressive.
