Just looking for an alternative we can use in our apartment. Already have a dryer, just looking for a washer so we can stop washing our laundry by hand in our tub.”

No it the same size and the average washer. It is not a compact.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I would say no. You might could do it, but it would be a ROYAL pain. If you don't have a permanent place to put this, I would look for a smaller one with wheels. This is the same size as a washer in a laundromat, just a little nicer.
