Thank you for your interest in this Black + Decker Mill & Brew coffee maker. The water or liquid will not contact aluminum at any time during the brewing or holding. The coffee will exit the showerhead between 195°-205° (F). Once brewed from the basket into the carafe, the coffee will hold between 175°-185° (F).
