“How do the notifications work? Will you be alerted when motion is detected even if you're not uploading to the cloud ie using a SD card? Does uploading to a cloud involve a subscription? Are there any external lights that would be visible?”

I only got notifications of logging in on another device other than that nothing

Firstly, the mobicam will notify you of motion detected when the motion detection alerts are turned on whether you have a subscription, Micro SD card, or not. If you decide to purchase the subscription of Cloud Storage, it will store all motion detected events recorded by the MobiCam according to the subscription terms. Also, without a subscription, you can purchase a Micro SD card. The MobiCam will function accordingly with any standard Micro SD card with GBs of 16 to 128. The only external lights on the MobiCam will be the power indicator (blue light in the front of the device) and the IR Sensor lights (night vision- red lights located in the black circle of the MobiCam's eye).
