Q: QuestionCan this work as a Oculus Link cable?

• A:Answer I read a separate review about this product stating that it worked as a substitute for the Link. I’m not sure if it’s compatible with a desktop tower, but I would assume it would be due to the long cable needing to transfer data between your computer and your oculus quest. I purchased this cable recently, and while it did give a charge, I wasn’t able to get it to connect to the oculus link setup on my laptop. I do recommend trying a different cable first, before making this one your first option :) I hope I could help

• A:Answer I have a Pioneer AVH-510EX that was working with a Samsung Galaxy S7 and a MODAL braided cable. It is not working with a Google Pixel 3 and this MD-MCABG4 cable Someone suggested using the cable that came with the phone, but that is a USB-C to USB-C cable for fast charging. It is not the common USB-A to USB-C cable. https://www.pioneerelectronics.com/PUSA/Car/NEX/Android+Auto+not+working+for+newer+USB+Type-C+phones+(including+Pixel) There is an extension from the back of the radio to a convenient place to plug in this cable. I'm going to try a different phone, maybe crawl under the dash and try to eliminate the extension, or try a Belkin Cable, which is on the list of "certified" USB-C cables.

• A:Answer If your Pixel 3 has a USB-C port on the bottom of the phone, then yes, this cable will work for transferring information from your phone to your laptop. Plug in the USB-C end into your phone and the normal USB-A side into your computer.
