• A:Answer I don't have an answer regarding the phone, but can tell you about my experience with my Samsung Galaxy E tablet. I had the original short cord and "brick" for the tablet and when I plugged the new cord into the "brick" that goes into the wall plug, it did not work. I had another "brick" I had bought and when I used it with the new cord it worked. Hope that will help a little.

• A:Answer 2.0 and 3.0 are compatible with each other. Whatever your main unit is (laptop, in this case) is what will depend if the speed of transfer (2.0 or 3.0). If you have a 3.0 laptop but a 2.0 cord, it will be 2.0 transfer. If you have a 2.0 laptop and 3.0 cord, it will be a 2.0 transfer.
