I believe the rapid lights are an indication of rapid charging. It should slow down as it gets closer to full charge. I'm pretty sure I read that on the insert when I bought it.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have not had that problem. Did you plug into a apple certified charger? I only use ones that are certified so that it does not harm the unit.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The rate speed of the flash is supposed to be rapid depending on how low the battery life is. It has 3 stages of flashing low batt is very fast rapid and med batt is a slower flashing and almost charged batt is very slow flash when fully charged lights shut off automatically hope this helps
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Fast motion means it's charging, slow to no movement means it's finishing or finished charging. Flashing may just may mean its a bad connection. I wouldn't necessarily say its defective...? Was it still charging/syncing your device? If not, take it back and exchange it for a new one if you haven't had it very long. If that doesn't work, call the manufacturer.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yeah that's a neato feature . It just means your device is hungry for power! Yum yum ! Just sit there and stare at it. It's. Cool

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Check to the adapter to see if it generates enough amps to properiy charge the phone. To low of amps will heat up the phone battery and start a flashing alert.
