A:Answer No. Cases are of minimal protection unless you spring for an OtterBox or some other heavy-duty case. Even then, there is no guarantee of serviceability with a case unless it states that it has specific protection and/or liability coverage.
Cases are generally for show or to keep the phone from getting banged around in a purse, a pocket, or the center console of a car. I don't want to harp at you, but a cellphone is probably the third most expensive item you'll ever own in your life (after a house and a car). Take better care of it - phones are glass and electronics packed into less than 1/2 an inch of thickness. What do you expect will happen when you drop it?
