• As long as you have power and a good Wi-Fi signal, you can place it anywhere. You have to plug the Fire Stick into a HDMI slot. I use a 6 foot HDMI extension cable on one of my TVs

• The only antenna that we make that is specifically designed to be used in an attic where heat and humidity can wreak havoc on electronic devices is our line of roof/attic antennas. Using an indoor antenna such as the AirWave in an attic could cause issues with the electronic components and cause the unit to fail. We don't recomend it.
