- Answer I think you are misunderstanding the concept. The AirWave is an antenna itself that sends programming to your TV. You would not need the AirWave AND another antenna. The AirWave is a stand alone antenna.

QuestionCan this be used in an 'antenna-only' mode like the Mohu Leaf? Does it have the required Coax-out?

- Answer Sure it can. But there are other Mohu antenna options that look almost as good for a lot less money. If you don't want the AirWave for the streaming functionality but rather for antenna only use it makes for a really expensive antenna. And, for the record, our antennas can be painted with latex paint to match a decor.

QuestionOriginally the rel date for the mohu airwave was spring 2017. I did a preorder thinking I'd get it soon. The release date then chgd to labor day. Now it seems that it is fall '17. I'm about ready to cancel my order. What is the real release date???

- Answer No, not unless you have a Apple TV 4 or 4K, an Amazon Firestick or a Roku. It requires the Mohu App, which is currently only available for the three streaming appliances I mentioned. In addition, because it is so new, the apps don't yet work very well for Roku or Apple TV. I would not yet recommend this product. It's an interesting concept that isn't yet ready for production. Maybe with app and firmware upgrades this can be made to work. But it doesn't yet. And unless the Mohu app is made available for your particular smart TV, or unless you purchase an additional streaming appliance, it will never work for your TV.

QuestionHello ... I have read two different things about the new Air Wave Antenna coming out Labor Day Week end on the range .... I have heard it has a range of 30 miles and I read 50 miles as well .. I was wondering which one is more accurate ? thanks

- Answer According to the website you will install the mohu app onto your "smart" device. The app is available for Amazon Fire Stick, Roku, Apple TV, Android, and IOS devices. It does appear that this version of Antenna has only 1 tuner. Every viewer would see the same channel.

QuestionOur apartment is 2 blocks from the Gulf of Mexico doesn't have any windows facing east. Will this antenna be able to pickup the local broadcasts from the Tampa Bay area?

- Answer It was supposed to be, but there isn't an Android app yet as far as I know, which I believe that Chromecast is built upon.

- Answer The AirWave does have an ethernet port and a cord will be included. The AirWave won't support PoE I'm afraid. The power cord is 48".

- Answer If you currently have an antenna that is pulling in local stations for you and if you are happy with the streaming functionality on your TV the AirWave may not be necessary. The AirWave will allow you to have a channel guide through the Mohu app that will show your local OTA stations that are within range of the antenna. If you already have an antenna + streaming options you may already be set for free tv!

- Answer No DVR for the first release but that is on the drawing board for the future. Keep checking Best Buy for updates on the AirWave capabilities as they become available.

- Answer The app for tv is out. I just got a Roku tv and loaded the app onto the Roku menu. So far so good, though one has to experiment with placement of the antenna for best reception. Bye Bye cable...........
