• Sorry, but no. HDTV and FM signal are two different types of signal.

• It is grabbing a digitized signal out of the air, so the number of channels you are able the receive may be limited, because of the trees. However, I am confident it will work to some degree. If I am wrong, return it to the store and tell them it didn't work. They will give you a refund.
