• Reception is dependent on placement of the antenna, not the TV. So if the antenna is placed so that it is able to receive the TV signals, then I would expect it to work if you're located within 30 miles of the transmission towers..

• It should as long as you are in a good location for reception. You can mount the antenna high on the wall above your TV if you find that placing the antenna behind the TV cases reception issues. Trying multiple location with your antenna is always suggested until you find the best spot for reception.
