A:AnswerSorry to hear you did not have USB power on your tv. Most HDTVs have this port. My 4 year old Sharp/Roku tv has one. It is not Right for them to assume you have the port and Should have made it clear in listing.
However if you want to support an amp you just have to do as you have. Hey it is probably delivering your required stations? Look on the bright side, you got it to work!
A:AnswerA couple of weeks ago my Moku leaf style antenna stopped working. I was getting no signal. I was playing around with it today because a thunderstorm knocked out my internet. I decided to unplug and remove the ac plug that I thought was necessary for it to work. I simply unscrewed the antenna coax from the ac junction box and connected it directly to the TV and it's working again. I guess it's supposed to boost the signal but now, I'm getting no pixelization on some channels like before. Some channels were showing an error but after using the scan channels feature to reprogram my Samsung it's working great and the picture is excellent. I just saved myself from purchasing another antenna and now have a backup if my internet streaming is not working and will be able to watch locally broadcast sports. I hope this helps.
I don't know why they have an ac adapter unless it's for those folks living further away from the signal but I am getting a better picture without it connected. I live about 30 miles from ATL.
A:AnswerIt should be, but it depends. Neither antenna would work in my case because I needed an antenna that would work with Low-VHF.
The antenna isn't magic, if the Leaf 50 is on the edge of working then this one will give you a little bit more.
A:AnswerI have not had a problem with my wireless service. I have even used my cellphone as a hotspot and did not have any issues with either (antenna nor internet signal).
