• LED emmitments break down after 13 months, so five years is a lie for accurancy, it will work, but to no power it had from first plugged in.

• Great question! The light source isn't a bulb, so that it will last for many years. Our product uses commercial-grade UV LEDs, which maintain near peak efficiency for at least five years. After that, it will still function quite well.
