Amazing air purifier; low profile; high quality
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This air purifier is amazing. My wife and I have loved getting to use it in our nursery and know that the air in there is clean. It’s very portable and has a nice, low profile. So it’s not going to take up much of the room. But the quality is top notch. It’s also nice being able to use the app to see what the air purifier is doing, although you can control everything from the top of the device.

Best product for allergies
||Posted . Owned for 5 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My son has Environmental Allergies. Meaning he’s allergic to anything from dust, detergent, ants, grass, and so much more. He is required to have an EpiPen! This year I made the investment of getting a MOLEKULE air purifier for his room! Considering he has all his Transformers and they collect dust even though he’s very clean with his room. BEST DECISION I’VE MADE THIS YEAR!! He breathe so much better. No stuffy nose, and no allergy flares! So I definitely recommend this. If you are on the fence please ask me any questions. I know it’s pricey but like I said it was an investment in my son health!!!

HIGH END LUXURY AIR PURIFIER – But, does it work?
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.HIGH END LUXURY AIR PURIFIER – But, does it work? REVIEW: Molekule Air Mini+ Best Buy Tech Insider Network SUMMARY: Clearly, this is a very high end unit, with top notch packaging and build quality. I had some minor setup problems (more later), but overall, it is easy to use / operate. Here is my problem. How do I know it is actually doing anything? Sure it lights up. Sure a fan spins. I have no objective way to tell if it is working. If it is destroying invisible particles and blasting them to smithereens, and then turning them back into basic elements, I can’t tell. It is not like a bug zapper where there are little bug corpses all over the place. I don’t have an independent VOC [Volatile Organic Compounds] sensor to tell me if harmful particles are being reduced. So, I can 100% recommend this, that it is well built, and the lights turn on, and the fans spin. There are lots of technical reports on their website that show its effectiveness. CAUTION: Do be aware you are in effect signing up for a “filter subscription service” so that in addition to the initial cost, you must buy proprietary filters to keep it running. This is in the range of $100 / year. As near as I can tell the unit starts a countdown timer when it is running. It is unclear if this is based on calendar days or operational hours. The manuals seem to indicate calendar days (see pics). So, unless you sign up to get filters in 6 months you have an expensive fan. I am not saying this is a negative. Just that you should be aware (I was not) UNBOXING: (see picture) INITIAL IMPRESSIONS: The packaging is high end and frustration free. Everything is nicely wrapped in fabric. There is a “leather like” carrying handle to help move this from place to place. INITIAL SETUP / TIPS: For such a high end unit, I would have expected better quality control with respect to documentation. Repeatedly, in the “quick start” and “product documentation”, it clearly states that after you turn it on the Wi-Fi light will start to blink. Wait for the WiFi to start blinking and then once it does start to blink, then (and only then) download the phone App and start the pairing process. The Wi-Fi light never came on, I tried the app anyway, and it could not find the device to pair it. Eventually the app gave up, and after several attempts, it suggested doing a reset on the unit (press and hold main button for ~7 seconds). Although the Wi-Fi light still never started continuously flashing, this time I was able to pair my phone with the unit. From there it was easy to create an account and connect to WiFi. SIZE: it is pretty substantial in size. About the size of 1.75 x paint cans stacked on top of each other and about 1.5 x the diameter of a paint can. EVERYDAY USAGE The device is quiet and unobtrusive when left to do its own thing on Auto. The app itself seems to have as its main function is to nag you to death to sign up for the filter subscription service. I was (and am) bombarded with “subscribe and save” request constantly when in the App. The App also serves to update the firmware and act as a remote control. One problem(?) I have is that even if I set the fan speed to max (which is very very loud 83db - about the range of a leaf blower according to the CDC can cause hearing damage after 2 hours), after some time it reverts on its own back to auto (low). For me this begs the question how much air it is actually cleaning at its lowest setting. I would like to be able to run it at full speed when I am not in the room. A timer function on the app would be nice. When in low/auto you can’t even hear the fan, so it should be fine for bedroom use when sleeping. I often get "lost WiFi signal error messages from the App". I can assure that I have 100% wifi coverage at both my phone location and the device itself. Both are within 10 feet or so of the wifi access points. Just close and restart the app. SUMMARY: For me the ultimate success or failure will be the expensive filter replaced program. I am perfectly fine replacing the filter when it is dirty and needs to be replaced. If my environment is relatively clean from VOC’s then I hope I can get 1 year from the filter. If instead, it just has an arbitrary 6 month replacement schedule, then I can’t see spending $100 to $150 every year in and year out for the rest of its life. Especially when I have no way to determine its impact or benefit. Taken to the extreme, I would need to get 10 of these units and then spend $1000 / year on replacement filters to accomplish whole house coverage. I would recommend this for someone with only 1 problem area in the house in a relatively small room. I know they sell larger units. For larger rooms you might want to explore those as well, including some of their bundles of multiple sized units.

Sleek design + Exceptionally user-friendly
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.By adding a Molekule Air Mini+ to our main living space, we’ve been able to reduce the amount of pet dander floating around in the air along with reducing pollen and pollutants. The Mini+ has a sleek neutral colored design that easily blends in to our home decor. The device itself connects to WiFi and is controlled from an exceptionally user friendly app on my phone that keeps me updated on our home’s air quality. I can adjust the air purification strength as needed to improve the air after having the windows open, blowing out candles, (or burning something on the stove. EEK!). The fur babies and I are both breathing easier by having the Molekule Air Mini+ around.

Help with coughing
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My mom usually coughs a lot during pre-winter month. After I put molekule mini plus in her room, last night I didn’t hear her coughing as much. I can say her coughing both day and night time reduced about 70%. Wish I purchased it sooner.

Child’s play
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This air filter is by far one of the most expensive filters I’ve gotten. It is now probably one of the worse rich purchase I’ve made, and returned it within days. It’s built very nice I guess, but the app was terrible. Even if the app did work the data it gives you is a “color” with nothing behind it. No numbers no nothing. So if your looking for an air filter that actually tells you what’s happening, I would not recommend molekule. As well took hours to download an update and then crashed

WOW Very Impressed
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Wow I have always been very skeptical about this type of thing like air purifier thinking they were a gimmick, guess what I was wrong. I have been using this Air Mini+ for the past few days and honestly I have been amazed. I sleep with a ceiling fan on all night plus the AC, I usually wake up a little stuffy in the morning. Somehow after I start using this Air Mini+ I have been able to sleep better and I wake up normal, not stuffy anymore. I am very impressed and after using this thing has changed my perception completely about air purifiers. The item arrived in a nice brown box with white writings on the outside which honestly looks pretty nice. In the box you have the Molekule Air Mini+, Filer, carrying case, manual and instructions. The Item itself looks sleek and very modern and because of it’s small form factor you can actually put it on a night table and would not look bad at all. This specific one is very light and easy to carry due to the attached leather handle. On the top surface the center is an actual touch sensitive button, there you can adjust the speed and reset the device. Also on the top surface you have several display items such as speed level, WIFI icon, Filer status and the active mode. To make the most out of this Air purifier you will need to pair it with the Molekule app, which took me several tries to get it to pair. Once you have it paired with the app you can control your device even away from home. The app will tell you how bad the particles levels are in the air in 4 different levels, Good, Moderate, Bad and Very Bad, you can also adjust the speed and put the device on standby. In my situation my bedroom was moderate after 2 days continuously running it changed to Good. If the air quality has changed in the room the device itself would notify you by turning the center light to the particle level color. In the lower fan speed setting this device is very quiet and hardly noticeable, but at higher speed specially at highest is loud. I have kept this either in active mode that automatically adjusts the speed or level 1 and the noise level has been minimal. If you pay good attention in the dark you will notice the subtle purple light, that light is what helps to kill bacteria. Replacing the filter is also a breeze, just turn the cover counter clockwise, lift and replace your filter. Another thing I really liked about it is the cable management. You can coil the cable in the bottom section of the device and just use what you need very clever. Overall I am very impressed with this Air Purifier and honestly I don't think I would ever stop using it from now on, you will notice the difference in the air just after letting it run for a few minutes. This thing not only looks pretty and modern but it also does what it claims to do from my experience.

Q: Questioncomparing this to the Mini, the specifics of the mini says Ozone -free, but this one does not say that. Could you please clarify?
Asked by jeanette.
- A:Answer Hi Jeanette, all of our devices use the same underlying PECO technology and none of them generate any ozone as a byproduct. The only differences between Air Mini and Air Mini+ are the particle sensor and Auto Protect mode that Air Mini+ comes with. All Molekule air purifiers are ozone-free.

Q: QuestionWhy so expensive? What is the breakdown of costs for this particular product? It too $ 0.03 to make the molded shell (Plastic) which is predominately the whole product, ItI want to know the costs to you , I'll tell you. Total of $8.67 to make this.
Asked by TheDad.
- A:Answer Based on my own research, the price is due to its innovative technology and effectiveness. Like dyson, no other brand has its technology. That tech requires a lot of research and money to create. Touching on the efficacy note, it seems to clean/purify the air better than HEPA filters.

Q: QuestionIs this one to big for a 100 ft sq bedroom?
Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer This unit looks like a size of a vase or small bucket of water. It is not that bulky but for a small place this is perfect and it really filters the air.

Q: QuestionHow often does the UV light source need to be replaced? What type of bulb is it?
Asked by CalBear89.
- A:Answer LED emmitments break down after 13 months, so five years is a lie for accurancy, it will work, but to no power it had from first plugged in.
