• A:Answer If you're referring to the PS5 or Series X version, it acts like any other game in that it still has to install the game from the disc to the console hard drive, and then the disc being inserted simply acts as a key to launch the game. The game's full data is on the disc if that's what you're asking, though of course there are patches that will still need downloading.
