• Not that I know of. Just check to be sure you don't have it backwards. There is an input end and an output end.

• Kim, The cable is "directional" - ensure you have it connected accordingly. If nothing else, try reversing the connection you have made to eliminate that potential problem.

• I forgot to ask. Are you hooking your projector up with a home theater receiver or a PC? There are issues with a PC where you must change the resolution of the video to the projector.

• I believe this cable is terminated at one end which means it is uni-directional. Are you sure you have the input plugged into your receiver and the output plugged into your projector? If you have it reversed it likely will not work. This cable should easily support 1080p video.
