• There will not be any increase in audio fidelity, so your question can only apply to construction-including the connections to your interfaces. So if you have any concerns regarding that, then try it. Although it is difficult to picture Bose supplying an inferior cable, it does happen.

• I doubt it. Its just better quality and both will ultimately do the same thing. I was using the optical that came with my Klipsch r10-b soundbar until it snapped in two. The monster just feels nicer. Hopefully wont break because its much thicker. I could be wrong though
