Best Buy Protection coverage As a Best Buy Beta member, you will receive up to 24 months of Best Buy Protection for each of your eligible Best Buy-purchased products. Best Buy will provide you with a repair, replacement or store credit to purchase a new device if your product suffers from a mechanical failure or, in some cases, accidental damage from handling. i highly recommend this plan..i bought it and it paid for itself on the first visit to Geek Squad having my laptop worked on and i didn't have to pay one cent for what they did because it was included on the play. Believe me it's one of those things you'll be glad you got after you use it one time..

Please try again later.Disclaimer: I have not used the service yet but also bought a Dell laptop and purchased the Total Tech so my answer is limited: I believe you can turn to Best Buy for any technical problem you might encounter for software (like windows issues) and hardware (like a drive failure) and any questions that arise as well as possible upgrades/installation for free.
