QuestionWill this Mophie wireless charging pad work for an iPhone 11 Pro Max that is protected by an Otterbox Defender case? If the answer is no, then what other charging pads would work with a Defender case?

- Answer I have a thicker case (Ridge Wallet) and it charges just fine, but only in the flat position. You need to find the sweet spot, but it charges just fine. I cannot get it to charge in the docked position, but it could be my case as mine has room for two credit cards so the phone is a bit farther away from where the phone needs to be for ideal charging.

- Answer No, IPhone 7 does not support wireless charging, iPhone 8 and above. It has to have a glass back to have wireless charging.

QuestionI plugged in this charger in my wall plug and the charging light did not come on. This wireless pad isn't working. The only thing I can think of is to take it back to the store for a refund.

- Answer There is no light that comes on after you plug it in or when then the phone is charging. I thought but it was broke too when I got home and plugged it in. But I put the phone in it and it charges the phone but no light come on

- Answer I have seen no lights with it at all; it was one of the criticisms in my review; I would have preferred a momentary 'on' light and an initial 'charging' light; it has neither; otherwise a very good unit
