A:AnswerI don't know if the LG phone has QI charging ability. But the charger does not turn off. It does the same as if the phone was plugged in. Continues to give the phone AC Power basically...if not the phone would go down in charge just sitting there with no charging device. It's like a trickle charger. The phone itself stops receiving charge. but maintains power through the device.
