Yes you can. I hardly ever remove my case.

Yes u can charge your iPhone without taking it off. Just make sure that the case is off or it will take longer. It will charge the phone and battery to full.

Yes, the case automatically charges the phone first, then it charges the battery in the case. No lightning cable required!

Yes, you can use the micro USB to charge your iPhone with the case on. That's the way I've been doing it, and it works well.
