• Although the Power Boost comes with a micro USB cable, the boost is also compatible with the cable that came with your iPhone 6s. We hope this helps.

• The question I think you mean is why doesn’t the cord that comes with the battery work with I-phone the Apple products each have a special cord designed by Apple to take the most charge from a device, the way to have the battery pack work is to charge the battery pack with the cord the battery pack came with, afterwards charge the iPhone using the cord for the iPhone and battery pack.
