you can just plug it in to an outlet to recharge it. I don't know how long it will stay charged but I think it could last part of the day

I have used it to charge my phone and Bose headphones on two separate flights about 6 hours total and it is only half full now. Should last the ten hours without a problem...

You can easily charge from a car by having a "cigarette lighter" connection that goes out to usb, and a full to mini usb wire (they're common). However this charger lasts for more than 10 hours.
