“What headphones don't require that stupid connector? I have found Koss over the head headphones fit directly through the hole to the input jack. Any others work?”

My understanding of the connector, which now just stays on our headphones, is that there is a rubber contact that you won't find on other headphones inserted directly. This rubber will provide protection for the seal at the insertion point, whereas metal inserted directly will wear out the seal on the case. I love our case so much that I wouldn't take the chance of breaking the seal or invalidating the LifeProof warranty.
