It depends on your level of service. The modem can support theoretical downloads up to 600MB. My service is only 25MB which this modem supports just fine. I typically experience download speeds close to and occasionally exceeding what the cable service provides. If you aren’t achieving your service provided levels, even after a modem restart, then it’s time to contact your service provider. Also for most accurate modem measurements use a computer with ethernet cable plugged directly into the modem/router as WiFi speeds will affect the results.
