- Answer The "quickstart" guide that comes with the modem lists MediaCom as one of the providers that the modem works with. (The guide specifically mentions Comcast, Cox, Bright House, Cable One, Charter Spectrum, MediaCom, RCN, Suddenlink, Time Warner, and WOW.

- Answer Not unless they are a CABLE TV company. This does not work with POTS (Plain Old Telephone System), DSL, FIBER. or SATELLITE services. It is for broadband internet customers of Northland Communications, WOW, Vyve Broadband, Charter Spectrum, Mediacom, Cox Communications, Comcast Xfinity, and similar services provided through a CABLE TV company.

- Answer No. This is NOT compatible with Frontier FiOS or Verizon FiOS. You'll need to lease equipment from Frontier or Verizon.

- Answer You could try to get a WIFI repeater that comes with ethernet ports so you can run a wired connection to your Sony TV
