• A:Answer Does not have wifi. This is a 300mbps device, You can get a refurbished 300mbps d-link wifi n router for $12 on ebay. I run 2 tvs, 3 computers, voip, and several other things on N. Otherwise an AC wifi router is readily available from multiple sources at a much higher price

Q: Questiondoes it work with Optimum internet/voice? Optimum/Altice representative says any Docsis 3.0 modem would do, but this device says only compatible with some cable providers.

• A:Answer I only have internet with Optimum (no cable TV or phone) and I was able to recently buy and start using this modem without any problems. I bought the modem, called Optimum to activate it on their end, and that was it. I would imagine you should have a similar experience if you buy the modem, but don't hold it against me if you don't as we may have differences in service plans and equipment with Optimum/Altice.

• A:Answer Definitely supported by Cox in OKC (and probably elsewhere). The only way to be certain is contact your (potential) service providers. Most will have a searchable web page to tell you yea or nay. This is the lowest end modem I could find, since I'm only paying for 50 Mb/sec. service (one 4K stream only needs ~15 Mb/sec.) This unit is capable of 3 times my plan bandwidth, but it's only Docsis 3.0, so it won't work for the higher bandwidth plans that require Docsis 3.1.
