• I believe it will work. It is backwork ward compatible with Docsis 3.0

• It will work just fine, if the mb8600 is recommended the mb8611 will work also. About the only main difference between the two is the mb8611 has a 2.5gb Ethernet port versus the 1gb on the mb8600.
