• This Motorola instrument is a CABLE DATA router. It takes signal from your cable provider and connects you to the internet. In addition it provides WiFi connectivity over a limited range. If you also get "landline" telephone service from your cable provider this instrument is NOT equipped to make that connection to your home telephone network. Ask Spectrum to recommend an aftermarket telephone modem.
