No, it is WiFi 5 spec. The two newer spec's are WiFi 6 AND WiFi 6E The 6E spec takes advantage of new spectrum split off for WiFi use. It is probably the one to wait for. So... on the Price / Performance curve, do want to buy at the bleeding edge, or wait until the price for the advanced performance comes in to you? Assume that this thing lasts 3 to 5 years, and also calculate that you'll need new phones / computers / devices that are also rated at 6 or 6E specs before having a 6 spec router will be of any benefit at all.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This router uses Wifi 5, but the wireless range is excellent as is the speed. I have a 2500 sq ft home and the router is located in my first floor office on the far side of my home. I now get wifi throughout my entire home. My ethernet is rated at 500 Mbps (speedtests at 530 Mbps) and the wifi speedtests at 350 Mbps on the first floor and 265 Mbps on the second floor at a bedroom the farthest away from the router. I'm very pleased so far with this router, very easy to setup on the phone app as well.
