I am guessing if you use the coax connector, then on the Verizon FiOS ONT, you'd still use MOCA. Else, if it has Ethernet WAN, then the ONT would need to be enabled for Ethernet. Other ISPs, I have no idea. I doubt it has internal MOCA to work with Verizon's cable boxes. I had used a bonded Moca 2.0 to network various computers/roku TVs that wern't using wireless, and I had great speeds on the network. But Verizon cable boxes do require some sort of MOCA that their routers provide. Was Moca 1.0 I think a few years back. Good luck with MOCA if you are planning on using coax cables to Ethernet for home networking. Extra good luck on using this for Verizon boxes. If not Verizon, then maybe better luck.
