• Yes, I have Spectrum and this product works with Spectrum as my internet provider. The only problem you will have is with Spectrum's wifi signal dropping, not Motorola's product. Spectrum's wifi signal periodically drops in some areas( such as where I live). I had that problem with my previous router/modem combo, upgraded to this because of Spectrum saying my other router/modem combo was outdated and still have issues with dropped wifi signal using this upgraded modem/router combo. Sorry, but I can't give you info on the chipset because I have no idea.
