- Answer Yes - if you use a different password for MG8702. My wife loves Alexa and Ring Doorbell and it took hours. Not too difficult. My best speed is now between 700 and 942 MBPS download on my Xfinity. No problem - That is why I purchase Motorola router.My 8 year old laptop using WI-FI is close to 200 MBPS DL.

- Answer On 12/22/23 at 12 noon in Sacramento. We got 585 mbps in our back yard. I believe your question is best answered by the amount on internet traffic on the Xfinity cable is handling at the time.

- Answer Not sure. I have Cox. I had it 1y 3 mos and it stopped working. The product is already pricey. If you haven't already purchased, think carefully. Make sure you have protection because Best Buy only offers 15 days

- Answer I use spectrum and what I did to make sure this would be compatible was call them and ask what modem router was compatible with their service. Luckily for me they use docsis so you just got to ask so you don't buy something you can't use.

- Answer it's pretty easy. Altough I'm disapopinted by the limited configurability of the Modem/Router, Port forwarding is OK. See picture attached.

QuestionHow do I get the electronic store credit, that I never received, that shows on my receipt was emailed to me. I have spent hours with chat, and calls to get nowhere. It's been 10 days and I just get lied to that I'll get it within 24 to 48 hours.

- Answer I am not on Blue Ridge, I am in Oregon. But there is no reason to think this modem will not work for you. All the protocols are the same. Even if Blue Ridge does not transmit at the same speeds as some others, the modem can still work with it. I am satisfied with my Motorola modem. Good luck.

- Answer The Motorola 8702 is a mid-level network modem. Would be a great replacement modem but does require a better network connection than a DSL.
