A:AnswerYes, it works with Google Maps, Navigation, ...though first time I tested it out on voice navigation to a well known easy destination it took me via a route that was not, to me, the most direct or logical one. So, be aware that you may have to go in and adjust the settings the way you'd like.

This is rare. Have you tried to check if all permissions of Android Auto are all enabled? To check, go to Settings> Apps> Look for Android Auto> Permissions> check if all Permissions are enabled. If all were enabled, try resetting the app preferences and see if that would help. To reset it, go to Settings> Apps> tap 3 dots> Reset app preferences.
