Go to settings and for languages & input, then look for spell checker. When you find spell checker open it and make sure it is turned on. I hope this helps.

Hi farfar, I'm glad you asked that. All you need to do is go to settings, scroll down to "language and input" and select "spell checker". With this, you can choose when to use it or not. If for some reason that Google apps are not automatically installed, you can easily head to the play store and install the Google keyboard.
