“Could this phone work with an AT&T pre-paid plan from Mexico? I'm not sure how consumer cellular works”

• Consumer Cellular phone is locked to their service and most likely will not work with another carrier’s SIM card unless the customer gets it unlocked. Best Buy on behalf of Consumer Cellular

• Consumer Cellular requires a year of service before it will unlock the for to another service provider. So, if you want to do this immediately, the answer is no.
