Yes you can create a mobile hotspot for it. No , you will have to attain the Verizon SIM yourself.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No, it will not come with a sim card. Hotspot aka tethering is dependent on your service provider and your plan, not the phone.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No the moto g4's sim card slot comes with a nano to micro sim card adaptor. You will need to activate a new prepaid/postpaid Verizon line if you do not already have service. If you do currently have Verizon but your current device is a flip phone or old enough not to include a sim card you can either purchase a new prepaid sim kit or have a best buy mobile employee activate a postpaid sim card for your phone during a hardware swap. If you have a post paid account you will need to make sure you have a data plan (older Verizon plans with phones that do not include sim cards use mobile web over 3G/4G/LTE. So if you have an outdated plan w/o DATA, you will need to change it). However if you are a Verizon pre-paid customer they offer the "wifi-only" plan which means you will only have access to the internet when connected to a wireless network. However you will still be able to make and receive phone calls and non multimedia text messages (SMS). You will be able to use the motog4 as a hotspot so long as your mobile plan allows.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, the phone has a hotspot. It doesn't come with a SIM card. You would get the SIM card from Verizon when you sign up for service with them.
