Can i use this phone for Boost Mobile null

I just purchased this phone today. Sad to say that this phone is not compatible. I've typed in the IMEI and it said it wasn't compatible. Also I have the Note 8 pre-owned (unlocked) from boostmobile.com and since sim is unlocked from sprint I figured I could use it. That wasn't true!
