A:AnswerI got an unlocked one from best buy i called boost before getting the device to get sure they told me it's compatible call us again after buying it to send you a specific sim card for it and they did and it's working fine, call the customer service for Verizon and ask them then get unlocked moto g5 plus, thanks.
A:AnswerSIM card is NANO and it's best to get from mobile carrier (4G/LTE card). There is Android app called "Smart Switch" (unknown about Apple) to transfer contacts, photos, media, and downloaded apps. You will put app on old phone, then put app on new phone and follow prompts. Hope this information helps.
A:AnswerHi Barb,
Yes, they have close size. The phone has 5.2" display. Check this link to see all of Moto G5 Plus specifications: https://www.motorola.com/us/products/moto-g-plus

A:AnswerPerhaps the best route for you would be to just by the phone at BestBuy, then take the phone into a Sprint store where they'll be able to activate the phone and provide you a SIM.
A:AnswerThe version you are describing is the Moto G5, which is not available in the USA. This has a removable battery but not so high specked as the Moto G5 Plus.
The EU version of Moto G5 Plus is slightly different to the USA version in that Google Pay is enabled, the rest is the same
A:AnswerHi Casper,
Thanks for your interest. The phone is unlocked which is why it doesn't have SIM card included. You can buy one from your preferred carrier to have it activated.

A:AnswerHi Vwcut, thanks for reaching out. If you are referring to Google Daydream, the device doesn't support it. However, it will support Google Cardboard type Virtual Reality. It's important that the phone has a gyroscope sensor for it to work properly. The Moto G5 Plus has a gyroscope so it should be okay. -Erwin
A:AnswerThis is what I know (now) based on personal experience. I have learned that"unlocked" means only that a device is capable of being used on any carrier as long as that carrier accepts that particular device. Just because it's unlocked and able to be used on any carrier doesn't mean every carrier accepts that model/type of device.
I actually purchased the Moto5g plus because the unlocked Huawei honor was not accepted by Boost. The Moto5g works w Boost for sure. Although it took a minute to find out how..
Here's what to do..
Call customer service for Boost Mobile and tell them you are trying to switch devices, that the new device is unlocked but not accepting the change over to Boost although you were assured it should.. and that person will help as long as you have the imei number (on box).
Boost literally just hasn't updated whatever in their system to automatically accept the moto5g plus.
I did it and no problem got hooked up and used my moto5g plus w boost.
Good luck.
A:AnswerIt should work. I use it on Tracfone (which is a subsidiary of Straight Talk) and it works great. Although, I will say some functionality is lost because its not supported by Tracfone (such as call forwarding or wifi calling).
