• we are still waiting the release of 8.1 in Texas, there are reports that G5S plus is getting Oreo via OTA updates. nothing on my G5 plus as of Nov 5th

• July 2018 and still have version 7.0. When I got the phone it did about 5 updates. But they were all security patch level updates. Current Security patch level date is April 1, 2018.

• My G5Plus less than a month old came with Android 7.0 A check for system updates indicates there are none at present.
